Today I had the opportunity to sing with Triple Trio in two wards. We sang a beautiful hymn, My Shepherd Will Supply My Need arranged by Mack Wilberg (the musical genius). We decided to do the SATB arrangement because we loved the richness and warmth of the harmonies (and I have lots of fun singing the bass part). We so often sing acapella or with piano accompaniment, but for this song we perform it with harp, flute, and clarinet and the instruments make it sound so lush.
I especially love the words of this hymn and the beautiful reminder that Jesus Christ is our Shepherd. As we give ourselves to Him, He will take care of us. I love my Savior so very much and I am thankful for the opportunity I have to bear witness of Him through song. I know that as I sing this beautiful song I feel the spirit and I hope those that listen to us feel of our testimonies of Him and can also feel the spirit.
I look forward to singing this for other wards in the next few weeks. Here is Mo Tab singing My Shepherd Will Supply My Need at President Hinckley's funeral...

Carli, thanks for sharing that clip of the MoTab. The song gets me alone, but the added clips of President Hinckley were so touching. What a treat it was to watch that.
I love that song.
Thank you for a beautiful morning devotional w/ that hymn and reading your tender testimony of the Savior. I love you.
