We absolutely LOVE the Olympics! Ken and I have been staying up late, often until 1:00 am or so, watching TV. My eyes ache and my head is in a cloud, but it is so worth it. It has been so fun snuggling on the couch together every night and cheering on team USA. Luckily our kids are good sleepers and didn't even wake up when I was screaming for the 4 x 100 swimming relay. :)

Holy Moly, I hear ya sister! and I agree about the TIVO. We had so much fun watching the relay over and over and over and Michael Phelp's reaction to the relay over and over and over! I keep wondering why I have been SO tired lately... now I realize after reading your blog.. duh! It's the OLYMPICS baby!
Hey, did you see Kristen Armstrong win the gold in the biking timed trials?? Amazing! I remember somebody saying she was in the last olympics, but this time I saw her! Incredible, since I remember her as an awkward, gangly, ditzy blonde!
I realized that you might not remember who she was--from Kubasaki. I looked in the yearbook, and I guess I remember wrong--she was pretty athletic and not very awkward at all. I think I had her confused in my mind with Kirsten Achenbach!
I agree- however like Kirsten the DVR has helped- then I can watch some the next day and not be too tired.
